Hello all! Well I just returned from another year at the Marin Indian Show. Thanks to all of you that stopped by to say hello it was great to see you all. This year was the first that we didn't share a booth with my old friend Buffalo Barry. It was a great time and I sold a tiny bit more than I spent. A free vacation isn't so bad. Here is a picture of the booth.
Welcome to the new and improved traditionalhopikachinas.com! Bookmark us and keep checking back as we make some new changes and upgrades to the site. I figured it was about time to bring it into the present. I'll be adding new stuff and great features like multiple pictures for each item. Play around with the new buttons in the picture viewer to enlarge the photo. And I added a new item below, the featured artist of the month!
RANDY HOWATO
This is a Sotukngutaka by Walter's nephew. Randy has really come a long way in a short time. His dolls are very detailed with lots of accessories and his colors are very original. This is a Sotokgnutaka or Second Mesa style Star katsina. What a great doll. Look around the site I recently added few more of his dolls.
We have started adding antique American Indian and Taxco jewelry and it's been selling well. We picked up some great new stuff in California so watch for that.
